Coaching Certification transfer?
Clayton Hayes
Level 1 Coach
United States
I am currently hold a level 300 USA Rugby certification. I will be moving to Germany in June of 2018. Can my certification transfer to World Rugby (formerly IRB). I would like to continue coaching but am apprehensive about starting all over once I arrive in Germany. Is there a process for this or is it even necessary?

Clayton,

We undertook a coach education equivalency exercise a couple of years ago which can be viewed at: http://coaching.worldrugby.org/?page=164. The DRV (German Union) should accept your Level 300 as an equivalent once you provide proof. Let me know if you need anything else

Many thanks Mark! I have my certificate pulled already. Would I just take it to whatever the local club would be or is there contact information for the DRV? Thanks again!

cheers
