Daniel, Pieter, Poena - you can only be certified when course details are submitted by the Educator to World Rugby, which may not have happened in your case. If you would like to email help@irbpassport.com with the details of the courses you have undertaken (dates, level, and ideally name(s) of Educator(s)), I will forward for investigation

Poena - Different territories deliver courses according to different structures. Please contact SARU for details of pre-requisites to Level 2 Coaching in your territory

Taylor - you are in Scotland so I don't think it would have been a World Rugby level 1 would it? I think Scottish Rugby have their own refereeing pathway (but don't quote me). I so you'd need to contact Scottish Rugby for a certificate. If it was indeed a World Rugby course, you'll get your certificate once the course has been processed at HQ in Dublin. As the course was only yesterday, sit tight for now

Hi.. ive received my level 1 coaching certificate with thanks. However on the cert it mentioned that it does not accreditate me as a qualified coach. may i ask what does then? Thank you.

Hello Kevin - as the Level 1 Coaching course is attendance only - ie their is no assessment of your coaching competency on course - we do not accredit you as a qualified coach. Once you progress to Level 2 - where we do assess your coaching ability against a set of competence criteria - and complete the assessment successfully then you will be accredited as a qualified coach.

I hope that helps to clarify things - good luck in your continued development as a coach.

Good day. I am currently busy with the online Rugby Ready course, however, if possible, I'd like some clarity as to how I go about obtaining Level 1 certification. Perhaps if you could assist me with a link or a breakdown of the necessary steps. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Wesley - as you are in South Africa - once you finish your rugbyready course online then you will need to do a World Rugby/SARU Face-to-Face Level 1 Course.

Hi Bernard, I have looked on our database and it looks like your email address was spelled incorrectly which is why you didn't receive your certificate.  You should now be able to see it.
