Hi Nobby,

This would depend on the national Union and therefore what kind of Level 1 course you'd be undertaking. Each national Union sets their own pre-requisites. In your case, you're in England, and a pre-requisite for the RFU Level 1 is to attend a Rugby Ready course face-to-face.

If you contact your local club they should be able to help you enrol on a face-to-face Rugby Ready course.

When I recently sat my rugby ready I was informed that it was possible to go direct for level 2, with a couple of additional short courses. Could you let me know best way of finding these courses in my local area? North Yorkshire!

Simon,

The IRB does not govern coaching structures. You will need to contact the coaching department at your national Union, which in your case, is the RFU.

Hope this helps.

Hi Noa,  there is a webpage on the World Rugby website which has a list of Level 2 and above courses that are taking place in each Region - http://www.worldrugby.org/news/31352

I suggest that you should contact your Union in order to find out when the next course is taking place in your area and in order to put your name down for this course.  You will find the details of Fiji Rugby Union on the World Rugby website - http://www.worldrugby.org/member-unions/

Kind Regards
