Hi Stefano, please contact your Union in order to confirm what their requirements are to become a coach within their Union.  You will find the details for the Union on the World Rugby page - http://www.worldrugby.org/member-unions

Hi Jennifer,

I am living in Saudi Arabia in a private community where we coach about 120 kids from ages 4 -14. We are looking at up skilling our coaches and wanted to get your recommendation of where to start.

As I understand, some online content needs to be completed before participating in the level 1 coaching course.  Also, where in the middle east region would you recommend to get the level 1 coaching? Maybe, an alternative could be to fly an official coach training in as we have a number of coaches.  Thanks for your time.

Hi Donovan,  I suggest that you contact Asia Rugby in order to look into the possibility of having a World Rugby Level 1 coaching course in Saudi Arabia.     May I suggest that you visit the following and complete the following online learning in the meantime:

  • Rugby Ready
  • Concussion Guidance for General Public
  • Introduction to Coaching
  • Coaching Key Factors
  • Functional Role Analysis
  • Laws of the Game

 Kind Regards

Hi Mateo,  Please contact Fiji Rugby Union to find out when the next Level 2 Coaching course is taking place and ask if you can be nominated to attend a course.  Please ensure that you have completed all of the relevant online exams and ensure they are all up to date in advance.  Kind Regards
