Hi Saoul,

Can I suggest that you visit the following and complete the online learning:

  • Rugby Ready
  • Concussion Guidance for General Public
  • Introduction to Coaching
  • Coaching Key Factors
  • Functional Role Analysis
  • Laws of the Game

They will give you a good grounding and prepare you for your Level 1 face to face coaching course. Please contact your Union for dates of courses near you.  Good luck in your coaching.

Hi Mokgadi, once you complete an online exam you will see an icon of a certificate which shows you have completed the exam.  Please click on this to download your certificate.

Hi Newman,  you can download a copy of online certificates by going to each website and clicking on the certificate icon.

You will be able to download your face to face certificates from the the blue bar next to forums at the top of this page that says "your certificates" .

If you cannot see this, please email me with the course details (course type, date, location, educator) and I will look into this for you.

Hi Karan,  once your course has been created online by the Educator and processed by World Rugby, you will receive a link to download your certificate and you will then be able to download your certificate when you log in to Passport.

You will see an option on the blue bar at the top next to forums called "your certificates".  The certificate will be in this webpage.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me on jennifer.wilson@worldrugby.org.

I recently completed a day and a half Level 1 Coaching Course in Singapore as well as the online requirements, when I received my certificate, noticed it said that the certificate did not accredit me as a qualified coach. Could you please clarify why this is? Is there something else I need to do before I qualify?

Hi Blair, the Level 1 Coaching course is an attendance only course.  You must attend and complete the Level 2 Coaching course in order to be accredited as a Coach.  If you wish to attend a Level 2 course, please contact your Union who will be able to assist you and put you forward to attend a course.  You will find the details on our World Rugby website under Member Unions.

Thanks for your reply, I would be willing to do the level 2 course but I'm only 15. Is there no way I could become level 2 before turning 18?

Good Day
I have a question regarding the Level 2 sevens and fifteens. Both require a certain amount of online tests and face to face time. Do both require a physical assessment also? Is the format the same for both or are there differences?

Thank you

Hi Riaan, i've received your response via email.  I am glad to hear that you have managed to get answers and that you only have to do the practicals now.

Kind Regards, Jennifer
